na jane kyon ye ankhen udaas rehti hai,
in ankhon mai kisi ki pyaas rehti hai,
ye jankar bhi ki woh meri kismat mai nahi,
phir bhi kyon unhe paane ki aas rehti hai...

Geet ki zaroorat mehfil ko hai..
Pyaar Ki zaroorat dil ko hai..
Bin dost ke adhuri hai zindagi,
e dost teri zaroorat har pal ko hai..

Woh dete hai kyu ye dard bas hami ko..
Kya sanjhenge woh in Ankhon ki nami ko..
Lakho Deewane hai jis chand ko..
Woh kya mehsus karenge ek Taare ki Kami Ko..

All the love that history knows,
is said to be in every rose.
Yet all that could be found in two,
is less than what I feel for you.
