My Heart , Poem for my love

My heart is so tender
So fragile so caring
If I trust it with you
Would that be so daring?

My heart needs someone
Who will treat it right
Let emotions take their course
And not put up a fight.

It has been broken
So many times in the past
Now what it needs
Is someone to heal it and fast.

Could you be as gentle
As it needs you to be
I think you could
But I’ll just wait and see.

Just promise that you won’t hurt it
Or break it once more
And I’ll promise to care for you
Like no one ever has before.

I have so much to offer
To that one person I can trust
But first you have to make that promise
And that is a must.
